LX MAPPER
Terms of use

Last updated 28 July 2026

These terms describe how the service is intended to be used. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have them checked before you charge for access or take on customers who need a contract.

1. The service

LX MAPPER is a browser-based mapping workspace for geological and geotechnical work, operated by TEBANI Mehdi at https://myhostlife.space. Using it means accepting these terms.

2. Accounts

Accounts are granted by review, not automatically. Give accurate details when you request one; an account obtained with false information may be withdrawn. Your account is yours alone — do not share the password or let anyone else sign in with it. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Access levels

Trial, Standard and Pro differ in what they include; the current differences are set out on the home page. Your level and its expiry are shown on your account page. A trial is time-limited and ends without notice when it expires. Access may be changed or ended if these terms are broken, or if the service is discontinued.

4. Professional judgement

This is the clause that matters most. LX MAPPER produces maps, measurements, slope and contour surfaces, hydrographic networks and coordinate conversions. These are working aids, not survey products.

Terrain outputs are derived from public elevation models whose resolution limits their accuracy. Georeferenced scans carry the error of the original document and of the control points you place. The geological sheets are reproductions of published maps and reflect the survey as it stood when it was made.

Nothing here replaces a site investigation, a licensed surveyor, or your own professional judgement. Do not rely on any output as the sole basis for a design, an excavation, a safety assessment or a legal boundary. Check anything that matters against primary sources.

5. Your data and your projects

What you upload and create stays yours. Storing it here grants no rights over it beyond what is needed to run the service. Keep your own copies of work that matters — every project can be exported as an .lxp file from inside the app, and doing so regularly is on you. Each account has a storage allowance, shown on the account page.

Do not upload anything unlawful, anything you have no right to share, or anything containing other people's personal information without a proper basis for it.

6. Map data and attribution

The geological sheets reproduce maps published by the Service de la Carte Géologique de l'Algérie (ASGA) and remain the work of their originators. Basemaps, routing, geocoding and elevation come from Esri, Google, OpenStreetMap contributors, CARTO, OpenTopoMap, Mapbox, OSRM, Nominatim, OpenTopography and Open-Meteo, each under its own terms. Keep the attribution intact when you publish anything made here, and check the relevant provider's terms before commercial redistribution.

7. Fair use

Do not attempt to break into the service or into other people's accounts, scrape the map tiles in bulk, resell access, or run automated processes that place a disproportionate load on it. The service is offered as it is; it may be unavailable during maintenance, and features may change.

8. Liability

The service is provided without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for loss arising from its use — including lost data, lost work, or decisions taken on the strength of its outputs. Section 4 explains why that limit is meant seriously rather than as boilerplate.

9. Ending an account

You may ask for your account to be closed at any time; export anything you want to keep first. Accounts that break these terms may be suspended or removed. If the service is discontinued, reasonable notice will be given so work can be exported.

10. Changes and contact

These terms may be updated; the date at the top shows when. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it. Questions go to no-reply@myhostlife.space.
